Biography
Arham Aryadi is an Indonesian Composer and Educator. He is known as the founder and Music Director of Indonesian Contemporary Gamelan Ensemble (ICGE). He holds a bachelor's degree in music composition at Conservatory of Music Pelita Harapan University and Master of Arts in Urban Arts Creation at Postgraduate Jakarta Institute of Arts. Currently He is a Chairman Music Committee Jakarta Arts Council from 2023-2026.
His musical vision revolves around the fusion Indonesian traditional music with Western classical and electronic. His composition have received acclaim and have been performed by renowned ensembles worldwide, including Ensemble Modern (Germany), Hong Kong New Music Ensemble (Hong Kong), HKU Gamelan Ensemble (Hong Kong), Ensemble Multilatérale (France), Quatour Bozzini (Canada), Ensemble Studio C (Malaysia), UiTM Gamelan Ensemble (Malaysia). In Addition, he has collaborated with various dance, theater and film production to bring his innovative musical concepts to life.
